Roth piston accumulators are highly efficient and can be individually adapted to customer requirements by adjusting the fluid connections and the sealing system. Additional options, such as a built-in stroke limiter or a wide range of measuring and monitoring devices, allow continuous monitoring of the operating status and make the Roth piston accumulator a versatile product.
The piston accumulators are equipped with a piston that acts as a movable partition between the gas and liquid chambers. Optimized sealing systems are available for different operating media and applications. Roth piston accumulators consist of high-quality cylinder tubes made of pressure vessel steel. The inner surface is matched to the sealing system. There are also pistons and covers screwed in on the liquid and gas side. If a defined position of the connections on the liquid or gas side is required, Roth piston accumulators can be sealed using a combination of threaded ring and cover. The usable liquid volume of Roth piston accumulators can be selected individually and can be adapted precisely to customer requirements.
Additional mechanical or non-contact piston position monitoring and optional temperature and pressure sensors from the Roth range of accessories ensure optimum monitoring of operating conditions.

Piston position monitoring
Piston position indicators/switching devices in various designs are available as a supplementary option in Roth accumulator system construction, depending on the application situation and monitoring requirements. They enable the piston position to be monitored. Stroke paths, pressure control, control of switching cycles, emergency shutdown, etc. are possible by using the piston position indicator in the piston accumulator system.
Piston position indicators can be visual, analog and/or digital.
