Roth Hydraulics honoured by Minister of State at Singapore trade fair

The trade fair hosted over 1,000 companies from 48 countries from around the world, covering an exhibition area of approx. 30,000 square meters. Said Roth Hydraulics sales manager Hartmut Kämmer: "It was a great honour for us to be one of the few exhibitors to receive a visit from the Minister. We are currently working to develop our market presence in Southeast Asia. Our presence at the trade fair, and the Minister's visit, were an ideal stage-setter to increase our visibility in the region.

" OSEA is the largest international trade fair for the oil and gas industry in Southeast Asia. Every well-known offshore technologies (marine engineering structures), oil & gas production and marine technology supplier was represented. Roth Hydraulics, a component manufacturer for storage technology, displayed its range of piston, bladder and membrane accumulators. The company's venture into offshore technologies marks a new area of application for Roth Hydraulics products. For example, Roth accumulators can be used to provide so-called 'blowout preventers'. In the event of an emergency, these seal the well safely and prevent the escape of oil and natural gas, thus making a major contribution to environmental protection. In both their standard and high-pressure versions, the company's robustly built accumulators are characterised by their extended maintenance intervals, ideal monitoring (condition monitoring) and high availability. Roth Hydraulics has decades of experience and wide-ranging know-how of hydro-storage technologies. The company's service package includes customer support right through to national and application-specific acceptance of the accumulators. Roth Hydraulics holds almost all of the necessary certificates worldwide.

As Hartmut Kämmer put it: "Our trade fair presence was a complete success. We were able to make a lot of new contacts and we forecast major market potential in Southeast Asia for our accumulator solutions in offshore applications." After opening a branch office in Taicang, China, two years ago, an expansion of the company's activities into Souteast Asia was the logical next step, explained Hartmut Kämmer. Approximately 18,000 visitors attended OSEA, which takes place every two years.
