The Roth Group’s IT systems at our German sites were the target of a cyber attack. On 8 May 2026, our servers were encrypted. Our core ERP system, SAP, was not affected.
Immediately after the incident came to light, comprehensive technical and organisational measures were put in place, and external IT forensics and security experts were brought in. The relevant authorities were informed and were closely involved in all subsequent steps.

The key systems and communication channels are now operational again. Investigations and the further optimisation of security measures are continuing.
The security of our systems and data is our top priority. We are using the lessons learnt from this incident to further strengthen our IT security measures.

Nevertheless, as a precautionary measure, we currently recommend that you exercise increased vigilance regarding suspicious emails, phone calls or other forms of contact that may be related to our company.
