Railway hydraulics

Hopper wagons are used for the mass transportation of raw materials like ore or coal. The vehicles and in particular the installed hydraulics are subject to extreme loads, including shocks, dirt, and climatic conditions. Short discharge cycles and a high degree of operational reliability are required to ensure the fast handling of the raw materials.

Roth hydraulic systems meet these requirements. They serve the energy-independent opening/closing of side flaps, roofs and slides on hopper wagons in the railway hydraulics. The systems are delivered ready for installation and consist essentially of the following components:  

• Roth wheel set pump
• Roth piston accumulator with patented load shutdown 
• Hydraulic control
• Hydraulic oil tank
• Cylinder/motors to the damper drive
• Ready to install piping kits
• Available with optional patented remote control

Temperature range: -40° C ... +50° C
